This December we're donating 20% of bagbalm.com sales to The Committee on Temporary Shelter (COTS) in Vermont, a local organization that advocates for long-term solutions to end homelessness and provides emergency shelter, services, and long-term housing for Vermonters who are experiencing homelessness or are marginally housed.
In 1982, COTS was founded by volunteers in Burlington, Vermont to help the emerging homeless population find shelter during the cold Northeast winters. Today, they provide affordable housing, emergency shelter, housing services, and prevention outreach to local individuals and families facing homelessness.
